Built by a non-technical founder

I'm not a coder. I built this with AI — and I'll show you how

aicode8 is my working notebook: how someone with zero coding background uses AI tools to design, build, and ship real products. No jargon, no lectures — just the honest record of what worked, what broke, and what I'd do differently next time.

🛠️

Build without learning to code

Describe what you want in plain language and let AI write the first version. You steer; you decide what is good enough.

🧭

Pick the right AI tool

Not by guessing. Answer a few questions and get a shortlist that fits how you actually work — from no-code builders to AI assistants.

📓

Learn from real attempts

Every win and every mistake, written down — so you do not have to repeat them. No polished case studies, just the working record.

What readers are asking

Questions that keep coming back in reader feedback, already answered.

  1. 01
Why is my Astro component's interactivity not working?

Components ship as zero-JS HTML by default, so an interactive one needs a client:* directive (client:load, client:visible, …). Without it the script is never bundled into the page.

  2. 02
Why is my custom Tailwind v4 brand colour not applied?

Colours must be declared in @theme (for example --color-brand). A missing @tailwindcss/vite plugin, or a leftover v3 config, makes bg-brand silently render nothing.

  3. 03
Why are _headers / _redirects not taking effect?

Both files must sit at the root of the output directory (dist/); anything under src/ is never uploaded. A purely static project should not add _worker.js either — that gives up the zero-cold-start advantage.
